Startup Account Executive

As a Startup Account Executive at TeraSky, you will be focused on hunting and opening new accounts. This role will involve identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and co-selling with AWS selling teams to uncover and close new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud solutions, particularly AWS, and a proven track record of new business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Hunting and identifying opportunities in the AWS Services market through outreach and prospecting
  • Hunting and identifying key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle
  • Prospect new customers and communicate with the AWS reps regularly
  • Maintain and develop strategic vendor relations with AWS
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback
  • Communicate TeraSky's value proposition to potential clients; understand common client requirements
  • Achieve outreach targets and sales metrics
  • Stay informed about the latest AWS technologies, trends, and developments
  • Work independently to get results and close deals effectively
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle

Requirements:

  • Experience in inside sales or a related role, with a focus on Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/AZURE)
  • Proven record of achieving sales quotas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience building relationships with customers
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex Cloud solutions
  • Proven successes in working for, or selling to tech startups
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close deals

What We Offer:

The potential yearly compensation or "OTE” for this job spans from $100,000 to $170,000. The final offer will take into account the specific role, location, and the candidate's unique experience. Additional incentives such as commissions or equity may be available for this position.
