Intro to HashiCorp Consul’s Kubernetes Authentication

That’s right! With HashiCorp’s Consul release of version 1.5.0 at the beginning of May 2019, you can now authenticate the applications and services living in Kubernetes to Consul natively.

In this guide, we will create a POC step by step, demonstrating this new feature. This guide assumes basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Hashicorp’s Consul. Though you may use any cloud platform or on-premise environment, in this guide we will be using Google’s Cloud Platform.
