Azure Cloud Architect

TeraSky is looking for highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Architect to shape cloud architectures tailored to specific business needs and to provide leadership and expertise on the development of new cloud services and technologies. Beyond the technical expertise, we’re looking for someone who is analytical, has a strong sense of responsibility, and is passionate about staying ahead of the curve in cloud technologies. 

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure cloud architectures tailored to specific business needs
• Analyzing current technologies used within the company and determining ways to enhance Azure-based solutions
• Providing leadership and expertise in the development of new Azure-based cloud services and technologies
• Conducting in-depth research on emerging Azure cloud technologies, including Kubernetes (K8s) for Azure, to guide infrastructure development efforts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful Azure cloud project delivery and integration.
• Defining and enforcing best practices for Azure cloud governance, security, and compliance, including Kubernetes orchestration on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Azure
• Deep knowledge of cloud computing technologies, with expertise in Azure cloud services, solutions, and resources
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShell and ARM templates for Azure
• Experience with Azure management and monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Policy
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset and exceptional decision-making skills, particularly in the context of Azure cloud architecture and design
• Familiarity with Azure identity and access management, including Azure Active Directory and Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing high-availability, scalable, and secure Azure solutions, including Kubernetes orchestration on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage
